Privacy notice
What this service stores, why, and how it is deleted. Last updated 2026-10-18.
What is stored
- Roblox
UserId, a random session id, server timestamps, the place version, and the four funnel events (join,tutorial_start,first_extraction,session_end). - For
tutorial_startandfirst_extractiononly, the step label and extraction method string you pass to the module. - Nothing else: no chat, no inventory, no IP addresses, no free text, no client identifiers.
Why
The data measures the first-session funnel: how many sessions reach the tutorial and the first extraction. Aggregates are used to decide which part of the game to fix next.
Retention and deletion
Raw events are kept until a deletion request is received. Aggregate counts contain no per-player data. A deletion request removes every stored event for that UserId permanently and writes an audit line with a request id and counts only, not the id.
Requests can be made in either of these ways:
- From inside the game: the server calls
POST https://analytics.shortscake.com/v1/privacy/erasurewith the player'sUserIdafter they confirm. - By the operator: the same endpoint with the server key, or directly on the host for a support ticket.
The endpoint is authenticated; it is not a public delete button. The operator can list deletion receipts (request id, time, counts) on request; receipts never contain the deleted id.
Roblox terms
This is a personal, non-commercial analytics sink for one place. It follows the Roblox Terms of Use and Creator Terms: only the minimum data needed for the funnel is collected, it is not sold or shared, and deletion is honored. Content takedown requests are not applicable because the service stores no user-generated content; contact the operator for anything else.
